Wetland Determination and Delineations
Our professional staff has worked on projects from 5 acres to several hundreds of acres and is vastly experienced with data collection methods, federal regulations, and reporting required when determining and delineating isolated and Army Corp jurisdictional wetlands.
Permitting
Whether its acquiring permits for impacts to navigable waterways as stated in Section 404 of the Clean Water Act or smaller projects that are affected by local ordinances, SET Environmental, Inc. has outstanding working relationships with the regulators that stand between you and project completion. We can rapidly expedite the process from beginning to end.
Wetland Mitigation, Restoration, and Monitoring
If your project is required to mitigate impacted wetlands or you simply want to restore/enhance wetlands, we have the dedicated and professional staff to work with you from the planning stage to the installation/building stage, and finally to the monitoring and maintenance portion of the process.
Pond/Detention Planning and Improvement
Many problems can arise when planning, installing, and maintaining pond and water detention areas. Water quality, soil erosion, soil types, vegetation establishment, and wildlife all need to be taken into consideration. SET Environmental, Inc. has a full staff than can evaluate site conditions, make recommendations, and implement practices that will make your project a success.
Plan/Report Review and Evaluation
We have an experienced staff that can review and evaluate conservation plans, wetland reports, native restoration plans, wetland monitoring and maintenance plans, subdivision green space/open space designs, and many other site specific plans. This allows an impartial and independent evaluation on the legitimacy and accuracy of plans and reports. SET Environmental, Inc. also conducts on-site reviews of plans and reports.
Soil Erosion and Sediment Control
Many sites that are under construction or are going to be under construction are required to develop a soil erosion and sediment control plan. This is especially crucial when projects are located near waterways regulated by the Army Corp of Engineers. Our team of experts can design soil erosion plans, conduct site reviews, and install/repair best management practices required to reduce and/or eliminate soil erosion and sedimentation.
Native Seed Planning, Installation, and Monitoring
From 1 acre to 1,000 acres, the experts at SET Environmental, Inc. can design, install, and maintain any level of natural prairie and wetland ecosystems. This is a great way to improve habitat, comply with federally mandated Best Management Practice standards, reduce soil erosion, improve water quality, and beautify an area.
