Project Summary:

Dr. Brandon Willis, of the 47th Combat Support Hospital in Mosul, Iraq, contacted SET Environmental after an Iraqi adolescent had ingested a vial of unknown toxic liquid and had been hospitalized with life-threatening symptoms.

SET performed an emergency unknown forensic identification analysis on a sample of the material in the vial and quickly provided the results to the clinicians at the hospital. The rapid response saved the child’s life.
