The health and safety of our employees, customers and suppliers is a core value at SET Environmental. We also work diligently to ensure that the work we do preserves and protects our environment. Our vision is to create a culture that empowers employees to work safely, promote wellness, and protect the environment. SET will work to continuously improve our Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) performance towards a goal of zero incidents.

Our HSE Principles

SET Environmental’s Employee Training Program

SET has been providing both classroom and on-the-job training for its personnel in-house since 1983. Over the years, the SET Training Program has been greatly expanded to incorporate changes in federal, state and local regulations as well as information gathered from our field operations.

SET instructors have both the necessary educational background and knowledge from on site experience. Instruction is presented using a multi-media approach which provides an optimal environment for learning and assures the high level of quality demanded by today's technical world. Our staff participants learn through lectures, print materials, videotapes, demonstrations, simulations, active participation and practice.

The current list of training modules in the SET Training Program is available on request. Each trainee is provided with an individualized curriculum from these modules, tailored to their previous education and experience, level of expertise and specific job description. In addition to the foundational elements, specific programs outlined below have been developed to meet governmental requirements and the company’s goal to provide a safe and healthy work place.
